LentiGuard
This is GlycaNova’s product for the animal and fish feed markets. It is produced in a fermentation process using Lentinula edodes mycelium and contains bio-active component beta glucan.
LentiGuard has been thoroughly tested in in-vitro and ex-vivo systems, in three mammalian species (rats, mice and pigs), in one avian species (chicken), one fish species (trout) and finally in shrimp. The results have demonstrated the beneficial effects from adding LentiGuard to feed materials.
Beta glucan is known to elicit biomedical effects as: Host defence modulation, anti-infective activity, immune system stimulation and anti-tumour activity.
LentiGuard is available for purchase as an active ingredient for various pet food and aquatic feed products.
